The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) promotes the cooperation and integration among its Member States in order to expand economic opportunities and wellbeing of the citizens. In pursuit of this mandate, the Authority of Heads of State adopted the ECOWAS Vision 2020 in June 2007, and it is finalizing a new vision called ECOWAS Vision 2050. DS Institute has been contracted to provide technical assistance and support the development of the Medium-Term implementation tools (strategic development framework, associated priority action program, logical and results framework) of ECOWAS Vision 2050 period. The main purpose of this assignment is to develop the first Medium-Term Strategic Framework for Vision 2050 and the associated tools for its effective operationalization, implementation and measurement of results. DS Institute will work closely for this assignment with the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) West Africa office and the ECOWAS commission.
